In my last post I challenged everyone to pray daily. Let’s keep that up. And if you start to lose faith or get down know that you matter to me and more importantly to God.
Romans 8:15, NLT So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
Romans 8:16, NLT For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
1 John 3:1, NIV See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
2 Corinthians 6:18, NLT And I will be your Father, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the LORD Almighty.
We are the children of God. Think about how much you love your children - unconditionally - even when they drive us nuts. Multiply that exponentially and that is God’s love for us. So as you say your prayers everyday have faith that God is listening. Listen to “You Matter to Me” from Waitress and envision God singing that to us.
